Dear participants,
team leaders and tracking enthusiasts...

The 2025 World Championship for tracking dogs will take place in the beautiful Mühlviertel region. The competitions will be held on meadows within a 15-kilometer radius around Rohrbach-Berg.

Local farmers are generously providing us with numerous hectares of meadows. To ensure a fair competition, access to all meadows and potential competition areas within a 50-kilometer radius of the headquarters (Rohrbach-Berg, Wandschaml 14) is restricted.

Condition of the
Competition Grounds

The competition areas consist exclusively of meadows.

Depending on the severity of the winter, the meadow may be significantly flattened by the time of the competition. Snow cover may have pressed down the grass, causing the blades to lie flat and become partially broken. The ground is likely to be damp and compacted, as the melting snow has saturated the soil. There may be bare or muddy patches where the grass has been particularly stressed.

Soil temperatures are low according to the season, which inhibits growth and delays the regeneration of the meadow.

We hope for perfect conditions for all World Championship participants in 2025.

However, this will depend on the severity of the winter and the resulting vegetation.

The following sequences were filmed in early April 2024.

The following images show the growth status on March 1, 2024.
