This right only applies if the data processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in us (Art 6(1)(e) GDPR) or is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests or those of a third party (Art 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you exercise your right to object, we ask that you provide reasons why we should not process your personal data as we have been. We will review the situation and either cease the data processing, adjust it, or provide you with compelling legitimate grounds for continuing the processing. We will continue to process the data if it is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
You can object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes and related profiling at any time and free of charge. In this case, we will cease the data processing.
2.3. Right to Withdraw Consent

3. Information about the Processing of Your Personal Data
3.1. Website Visit

Purpose: When our website is used for informational purposes only (no registration and no submission of other information), personal data transmitted by your browser to our server will be collected. This is technically necessary to display our website and ensure its stability and security.

Retention Period: Until the termination of the business relationship or the expiration of warranty, statute of limitations, and statutory retention periods applicable to the client (particularly the Federal Fiscal Code - BAO); beyond that, until the conclusion of any legal disputes in which the data is required as evidence.

Purpose: Data processing for organizing public and private events (congresses, conferences, or trade fairs), including inviting and registering participants, organizing travel and accommodation, catering to participants, and communication before and after the event, as well as settling financial transactions (fees, reimbursement of travel expenses), handling cultural programs, or transmitting documents.

Retention Period: After the event has taken place, the data will be deleted unless required for the defense or exercise of legal claims.

Recipients/Categories of Recipients: Courts and authorities, banks involved in payments to the data subject or third parties, legal representatives, and tax consultants, hotels, transport companies, travel agencies.
3.3. Examination Registration

Purpose: Data processing for registering for examinations and tournaments (local club exams, national championships, state championships, and similar competitions).

Recipients/Categories of Recipients: SVÖ (Austrian Association for German Shepherd Dogs), Austrian Kennel Club (ÖKV), and the German Shepherd Association (SV).
3.4. Registration for Certificate of Competence (Certificate of Competence Course for Dogs in Upper Austria according to §3 of the Upper Austrian Dog Ownership Act)

Purpose: Data processing for the organization and management of the Certificate of Competence Course for dogs in Upper Austria.

Legal Basis: Consent (Art 6(1)(a) GDPR), performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract (Art 6(1)(b) GDPR), legitimate interest, particularly the defense, exercise, and assertion of legal claims (Art 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention Period: The data will be stored indefinitely for possible future reissuance. Otherwise, the course would need to be repeated in case of loss of the certificate ("green card").

Providing your personal data is required for the performance of a contract or the execution of pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude a contract with you.
